Not a traditional jam circle: this is a sign-up acoustic and roots night for bluegrass and old-time country (songs from 1969 or earlier), hosted by Darryl Day. Players register on arrival and get about 3 songs each, with backup players welcome. Acoustic instruments only (pedal steel and electric bass allowed, no drums). Free admission. Reserving a seat is recommended. We list it because there are few bluegrass/old-time options in the region. It's usually the first Tuesday, but dates have moved before, so check the date with the venue. The venue also takes a summer break.
