Borderline listing: this is a community bluegrass and old-time jam, but it isn't in one room. Small groups of acoustic musicians (usually 4 to 8) play inside participating shops, restaurants and cafés across downtown Pickens, and visitors stroll from one to the next. It only happens on select Friday evenings, 6 to 9 PM, rather than on a fixed weekly or monthly pattern. The 2026 dates posted are September 11 and November 6. The pin marks downtown Main Street, not a specific business. Musicians of all ages and levels are welcome. To take part, email events@visitpickens.org. Check the Visit Pickens page for the next date.
