Open bluegrass jam on the 1st and 3rd Mondays, 6–8 PM, for traditional bluegrass pickers and players. Acoustic only, no amplification. If you sit to play, bring a chair. A $5 donation is suggested toward the room rental. Indoor location: for fall 2026 the organizer (BAARN, baarn.org) says the jams are held in the First Parish Church building itself (3 Bath Rd side). Go in at the back, through the entrance closest to Bath Rd on the spur between Bath Rd and Maine St. Older listings put the jam in Pilgrim House at 9 Cleaveland St (glass door at the back, down the hall on the right to the parlor room). Check baarn.org for the current room. Summer: weather permitting, the jam moves outdoors to the front of the gazebo on the Park Row side of the Brunswick Town Mall (191–195 Maine St). The 2026 summer jams started at 5:30 PM.
