Stage-set format rather than an open circle: a long-running Friday-night music party in the Manes Music Makers' white metal building on Highway 95, just south of Manes near the Manes school. A potluck supper starts around 6 PM, then musicians take turns on the stage playing sets of country, bluegrass, gospel and old-time, and anyone who plays is welcome to join in. The stage fits a full band and there is a sound system. Free to attend and family-friendly. The map pin is approximate. Call (417) 521-7209 if you have trouble finding it.
