Saturday bluegrass jam sessions at the historic T.M. Rickman General Store (built 1895) in the Cowee-West's Mill Historic District, about seven miles north of Franklin just off NC 28. The store is open Saturdays from about the second weekend in May through the second weekend in December, 10 AM to 4 PM, and the jam starts around noon. Bring an instrument and join in, or come listen and browse the historical displays, local crafts and snacks. Check the Friends of the Rickman Store Facebook page for any schedule changes.
